Course Description
The language course is designed to provide basic communicative competence in oral and written Twi. The course will focus on the structure of the language as well as the culture of the Twi speaking people in Ghana.
The Twi course will cover:
– listening and speaking (and later reading and writing),
– insight into the culture and customs of the Twi-speaking people
– basic grammatical structures of the Twi language
– basic techniques needed to engage in routine dialogues and conversations
The course is implemented over 3 different classes.
B1 – A basic class for beginners
B2 – An advanced class for those who have completed B1 from the previous year, or have some knowledge of the Twi knowledge.
A1 – A beginner class for children
The course begins on 5th April 2017.
